BestIzol - Flooring Thermal Insulation
Cement is a hostile environment for thermal insulators! There should be absolutely no contact between the material and the binder, which means that a protective film should be rolled out on the surface of the BestIzol Foil Thermal Insulation (Fig. 6). It is recommended to use the BestIzol THERMAL INSULATOR Type A (with the foil facing up). When using heat-insulated floors, it is crucial that the heat will not go to the bearing structures under the floor. BestIzol Foil Thermal Insulation is used as parquet padding, as well as under any clean floor coverings. Watch out for laps. “Butt-to-butt” installation is the best option. Size all field joints to create a complete vapor and water insulation.

For the floor thermal insulation, you can use the BestIzol Reflective Insulation both together with the massive insulation (Fig. 8) and separately, depending on the structure features. If you are building the floor with the wooden flooring, you need to mount boarding joists, line a counterfloor, lay the massive insulation according to your needs and fasten the BestIzol Reflective Thermal Insulation with the sagging to provide a small gap. Size the joints and install the finished floor. For this structure, the BestIzol THERMAL INSULATOR Type A or B can be used.
